Woodlawn stifles North Central, 48-0

Woodlawn cruised past North Central, 48-0, on homecoming night at Independence Stadium on Friday. Isaiah Kennedy scored on a one-yard run with three minutes left in the first quarter to make it 8-0. On their next possession, Austin Walker followed it up with a seven-yard score. Just like the opening quarter, Woodlawn scored two more touchdowns late in the half courtesy of the same duo. Written for the LSWA LaGrange returned to the top of Class 4A girls basketball, winning a second LHSAA championship, while the McMain boys won their first-ever state title. Each team has now earned a top individual honor on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s Class 4A All-State basketball teams.
