SLU’s Williams repeats as Southland Player of the Week
HAMMOND, La. – After helping the Southeastern Louisiana University women’s basketball team to a pair of road victories, Lady Lion senior forward Caitlyn Williams was named the Southland Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second straight time in an announcement from the league office on Monday. Williams repeated as the league’s top player for the week after helping SLU snap a pair of three-game winning streaks for their opponents.
