KENNER – Brother Martin seniors Cody Schaffer and Hunter Dunn each rolled perfect 300 games in high school club bowling league action Wednesday at AMF All Star Lanes.

Schaffer, coming off an ultra-successful summer season in which he won a pair of tournaments, rolled his second career sanctioned 300 in the middle game of his three-game series. He finished with a 280, including 10 consecutive strikes, in his final game for a 775 series.

Dunn’s perfect game was the first of his career. He had games of 243-300-216 for a 759 series.

Schaffer and Dunn played large roles in the Crusaders’ third state championship in five years last spring.

High school bowlers compete in weekly club league action in the fall before the varsity season begins in January.
