ULM Beach Volleyball joins Conference USA

MONROE, La. – The ULM beach volleyball program is joining Conference USA as an affiliate member, the conference announced Tuesday.

ULM is scheduled to be one of seven programs taking part in C-USA’s first season of beach volleyball sponsorship. C-USA full-time members Florida Atlantic, FIU, Southern Miss and UAB are joined by ULM, Coastal Carolina and Georgia State from the Sun Belt Conference to form a seven-team league for the 2022 season.

ULM, Florida Atlantic, FIU, Southern Miss, UAB and Georgia State all previously competed in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association for beach volleyball. ULM had been an affiliate member of the CCSA since the fall of 2019.

C-USA will join the CCSA by hosting the 2022 conference championship April 28-30 in Huntsville, Alabama at the John Hunt Sand Volleyball Complex.
