From their 2024 football roster, Tulane returns three tight ends: starter Alex Bauman, Reggie Brown, and Blake Gunter. None were signed at that position in the 2024 recruiting class.

The Green Wave has now added another veteran to the room.

Former Indiana tight end Anthony Miller, Jr. had transferred to Tulane.

The 6-foot-5, 265-pound product of Duluth, Georgia, is the second Green Wave transfer portal addition this week, joining ex-Troy tackle Derrick Graham. Miller will have four years of eligibility remaining.

As a three-star prospect in 2023, Miller fielded offers from Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, and Pittsburgh before opting to sign with the Hoosiers. He was one of only seven true freshmen to play this past season at Indiana, appearing in four games).

Miller entered the portal on April 18, prior to spring drills for the Hoosiers. He is an excellent blocker who does well as a receiver with seam routes and displays reliable hands. Miller can split out wide and become a mismatch against smaller pass defenders. He is a powerful runner following the catch.
