Kellen Mond did not spend much time with the New Orleans Saints.

The team waived the veteran quarterback Mond and offensive lineman Tommy Kraemer, per the NFL transaction report Wednesday.

The Saints signed Mond, who previously spent time on the active roster with the Vikings and Browns, on April 12. After drafting Spencer Rattler in the fifth round, New Orleans will now have Nathan Peterman, Jake Haener and the new rookie compete on the depth chart to back up starter Derek Carr.

Meanwhile, Kraemer (6-6, 316) played in three games last season for the Saints. The 26-year old started his career with the Lions as a rookie free agent in 2021.
