Torrance Small to speak Wednesday at Life Resources Bottom Line Luncheon

Torrance Small

Former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Torrance Small will speak at the Life Resources Bottom Line Luncheon on Wednesday, August 24 at noon at Piccadilly Cafeteria, 2222 Clearview Parkway in Metairie.

A native of Tampa, Florida, Small starred at Alcorn State before being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the 1992 NFL Draft.

Small played five seasons for the Saints before going on to play for the St. Louis Rams, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots for five more seasons.

Small won a Super Bowl championship with the Patriots in 2001 when the Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVI 20-17 over the St. Louis Rams in New Orleans.

With the Saints, Small caught 176 passes for 2,180 yards and 16 touchdowns.

For his career, Small had 346 receptions for 4,602 yards and 31 touchdowns.
