St. Scholastica, St. Paul’s continue winning ways on lanes

St. Scholastica and St. Paul’s scored victories in prep bowling action at Tangi Lanes in Hammond.

The Wolves handled St. Thomas Aquinas 20-7 (see final stats).

St. Paul’s took game one 7-1 as Joseph Brown and Jonathan Wellmeyer each shot 210 games for the Wolves while Jack Bertucci added a 182. Elizabeth McRea was best for the Falcons with a 182 game while Reginald Guidry had a 167.

The Wolves won game two 7-1 as Peter Bertucci fired a 244 game while Brown had a 211 game. McRea had a 202 for Holden (1-3) while Darian Bosch had a 163.

St. Paul’s finished off the victory with a 6-2 win in game three as Brown shot 186. McRea completed a 597 series with a 213 game while Jaliyah Smith shot a 201 game.

Brown was best for the Wolves (4-1) with a 609 series.

St. Scholastica downed Holden 20-7 (see final stats).

The Doves (5-1) took game one 6-2 led by Amy Schneida, who fired a 220 game, while Madison Jackson had a 154 game for the Rockets.

St. Scholastica took game two 7-1.

Schneida led the way with a 191 game while Maddy Pye shot 160 for SSA. Jackson had a 144 game for Holden (1-3).

The two teams tied game three 4-4. Schneida had a 155 game to complete a 566 series while Katie Garraway had a 159 game. Rae Herring fired a 221 game for the Rockets to complete a 492 series.
