St. Paul’s, Holy Cross, U-High, Episcopal top statewide soccer rankings

Area Prep Soccer Report for Tuesday, Dec. 17

The top remains the same in the latest Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches Association rankings for Week four.

Unbeaten St. Paul’s remains unanimous atop the Division I rankings. Dutchtown is second with Catholic of Baton Rouge third, Jesuit fourth and St. Amant fifth. Brother Martin is sixth with West Jefferson eighth.

Holy Cross received nine first-place votes to remain first in Division II. Beau Chene, St. Thomas More, Bonnabel and Ben Franklin complete the top five. East Jefferson is sixth. St. Thomas More received the other first-place vote.

University High is No. 1 in Division III with eight first-place votes. Vandebilt Catholic received a first-place vote and is second with Parkview Baptist third. Lusher Charter is fourth and Loyola Prep is fifth. New Orleans Military & Maritime is tied for seventh with Bossier, who received the other first-place vote.

Episcopal received nine first-place votes and is No. 1 in Division IV. Catholic of New Iberia is second and got the other first-place vote. Pope John Paul II is third with Newman fourth and Northlake Christian fifth. Christ Episcopal is seventh.
