Softball: Northshore takes important non-district win over Dominican
Area Prep Softball Report for Sunday, April 10
In an important non-district game involving highly ranked teams in the LHSAA power ratings, Northshore handled Dominican 12-2 in a non-district contest Saturday in Slidell.
Liv Hartdegen homered and Kennedy Ordoyne went 3 for 3 to lead the way for the Lady Panthers.
Northshore (20-6), ninth in the Class 5A power rankings, has won five straight games. The Lady Panthers will play a huge power points game Tuesday at John Curtis Christian at 5 p.m. The Lady Patriots are the top ranked team in the Division I power rankings.
Dominican (16-8), second in the Division I power rankings, saw its six game win streak end. Dominican will host Holden Wednesday at 5 p.m. in its regular season finale at Harahan Playground.
