Area Prep Soccer Report for Saturday, Jan. 26

St. Paul’s is a district champion again.

The Wolves pounded Fontainebleau 6-0 Friday as six different Wolves scored goals.

James Bradford and Ty Priola each found the back of the net in the first half to give St. Paul’s a 2-0 lead at the break. Connor Walmsley, Raleigh Martin, Michael Dufour and Tyler Guice each added a goal in the second half to finish off the convincing win.

St. Paul’s (21-1-4) is in a battle with Jesuit, who defeated the Wolves for the state title a year ago, for the top seed in Division I. The two sides will go down to the wire in that capacity. Jesuit defeated Gulfport, MS 1-0 Friday.

The playoff pairings will be announced this week.
