Saints Hall of Fame hosts 2 golf events in May

The Saints Hall of Fame has two outstanding golf events in May.

On Monday, May 20, the 31st Saints Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic is set for 9 a.m. at Chateau Golf and Country Club at 3600 Chateau Blvd. in Kenner.

Sponsored by the Saints Hall of Fame, the New Orleans Saints and the City of Kenner, the event features many current New Orleans Saints players, Saints Hall of Fame inductees, Saints alumni, head coach Dennis Allen and Executive Vice President and General Manager Mickey Loomis, the event is a taste of New Orleans, with a restaurant or caterer on every hole.

Patrons receive a New Orleans Saints golf shirt and cap and there is an awards function in the clubhouse immediately following the event.

The cost is $1,250 for a group of five, which includes a Saints celebrity, or $250 for an individual.

The ninth annual Saints Hall of Fame Gulf Coast scramble is set for Friday, May 31 at 9 a.m. at The Oaks Golf Course at 24384 Club House Drive in Pass Christian, Mississippi.

Presented by the Greg Keller Foundation, the event features a host of New Orleans Saints alumni with participants receiving a Saints golf shirt. Food and drink are provided and there is an awards function following the event.

The cost is $1,000 for a group of five, which includes a Saints celebrity, or $200 for an individual.

Those who elect to and enter a team to play in both events receive a $200 discount on The Oaks event, making the cost for that event $800.

Entries are open until May 13 for the Kenner event and May 24 for the Pass Christian event.
