This weekend was bountiful for ULL while Florida International left Louisiana with a 3 star linebacker in tow.

The Ragin’ Cajuns picked up commitments numbers 21 and 22. Defensive tackle Quentin Cobb, a 6-foot-5, 264 pounder from Kaplan was joined by 3 star defensive end Kendall Wilkerson (6-5, 265) from Kentwood High.

Wilkerson considered additional offers from UCF, Tulane, Kansas, Western Kentucky, Wisconsin and ULL. He is very disruptive, moves well in space and chases plays down.

Ni’Kendrick Carter from Many High lines up at outside linebacker and strong safety. He committed to Florida International after previously giving a verbal to SMU in June. Carter represents the eighth commit for the Panthers this season, pledging over offers from USF, UTSA, Oklahoma State, ULL, Western Kentucky, SMU, Arkansas State, South Alabama, New Mexico State, McNeese, Northwestern State, Alabama A&M and Idaho.

The 6-3, 230 pounder recorded 70 stops with eight tackles for loss, three sacks and two interceptions this season. Carter is a sure tackler, good ball skills, comes off the corner as a blitzer and seals the edge well.
