Tulane signs former Indiana forward Kaleb Banks

Kaleb Banks

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University men’s basketball program announced the addition of Kaleb Banks to its roster for the 2024-25 campaign this week. Banks will join the Green Wave this fall with two years of eligibility remaining.

Banks, a 6’8″ forward, spent the last two seasons at Indiana where he appeared in 45 games for the Hoosiers. The Hampton, Georgia, native averaged 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 8.1 minutes per game through his two years in Indiana.

Last season Banks recorded career highs in points, rebounds, assists, and blocks for the Hoosiers. He posted a career best 12 points against Kennesaw State and tallied a career high eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocks against Louisville.

Prior to his time at Indiana, Banks was a four-star recruit out of Fayette County High School. He was ranked 78th by ESPN, 84th by 247Sports, and 131st by Rivals.com in the 2022 recruiting class. During his time at Fayette County High School Banks tallied more than 2,000 points and was named Georgia Class 4A Player of the Year as a senior.
