Higgins vs. Hammond football game now canceled
A game that was put together earlier in the day is now off.
Higgins and Hammond, who had agreed to play at 2 p.m. at Lakeshore, have now canceled that contest.
Athletic director Buddy Veillon of Higgins said the issue was the high number of players still evacuated from Hurricane Ida.
