Tulane gained their second verbal commitment for their 2024 football recruiting class with the pledge of running back Dominik Ball from Palestine, Illinois.

The 5-foot-9, 185 pounder has 4.45 speed in the 40-yard dash and 11.08 in the 100 meters. He has a 39″ vertical and 22′ 1.75″ long jump. The three-star recruit earned All-State honors for the ’22 campaign.

After mulling over offers from Tulane, Kansas State, Illinois State, Fordham, Minnesota State, Central Michigan, Ohio, Kent State, Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois, he decided that the Green Wave offered the best option. Wisconsin, Iowa and Missouri have closely monitored him.

Possessing great balance, Ball manages to get extra yardage even when the play seems to be over. He hits a second gear in the open field and is difficult to catch from behind.

Kansas State favorably compared him to 2023 NFL Draft prospect Deuce Vaughn.
