Girls Bowling: Chapelle, Kenner Discovery win on Senior Day

Archbishop Chapelle remained undefeated with a convincing 25-2 Senior Day victory Thursday over Cabrini at Colonial Lanes in Harahan.

The Chipmunks (6-0) swept each of the final two games.

No one bowled all three games for Chapelle. Olivia Bares averaged 186.5 for two games and Elizabeth Hamilton averaged 182 to lead the Chips, who entered Thursday third in the LHSAA’s girls bowling power rankings.

Jenna Trabeaux paced Cabrini (1-4) with a 465 series.

Kenner Discovery 24, Fisher 3:
 The Swamp Owls had senior day for both of their teams at Bowlero and defeated the Gators.

Haley Adams had a 207 to lead an opening-game sweep for Kenner Discovery (4-2) and Taylor Daviels had a middle-game 182.

Dakota Cox claimed a pair of points for Fisher (0-6).

The Swamp Owls were 18th, just outside the playoff cut, in power rankings prior to Thursday’s match.
