The 6’0″, 281-pound lineman accumulated 63 tackles with 16 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks, earning 2023 Second Team All-Sun Belt honors.

The Stafford, Virginia product recorded a season-high 14 tackles against Lamar on September 9. He also compiled two sacks in three individual contests: ULL, Georgia Southern and Texas State.

Huntington has the capability of lining up at 3-tech or wide at 5-tech. His style is reminiscent of former Green Wave lineman Darius Hodges, who totaled 117 tackles, 36 tackles for loss and 18.5 sacks during his time on Willow Street.

Besides Huntington, Austin Peay linebacker Sam Howard came on board earlier this week, and defensive tackle Terrell Allen arrived on May 12. Allen was tabbed the 11th best defensive lineman in the 2024 transfer portal, and Huntington was ranked 20th.
