At this time a year ago, great anticipation in Baton Rouge lingered after the signing of wide receiver Jalen Brown.

The four-star wide receiver from Miami, Florida was the sixth ranked wideout in the 2023 class was unable to crack the rotation at his position. He played in three games this past season without recording any stats.

Brown, who entered the transfer portal at the conclusion of the season, will now call Florida State home for his immediate college football career.

The 6-1, 178 pounder with 10.65 100-meter speed had 111 grabs for 2,396 yards and 25 touchdowns at Gulliver Prep in Miami. Brown shows great footwork as a solid route runner. He recognizes when his quarterback needs help and alters his routes.

With the departure of wide receivers Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson to the NFL, Brown will have a chance to fill that void for the Seminoles.
