Delgado’s South District Baseball Tournament games to air on The Ticket 106.1 FM
Delgado baseball games in the South District Championship at Oxford, Alabama will be carried live on The Ticket 106.1 FM and theticket1061.com.
The games will also be streamed with live video at DelgadoAthletics.com.
Cumulus New Orleans Sports Director Ken Trahan of CrescentCitySports.com, voice of the Dolphins, will provide play-by-play.
To open play in the double-elimination format, the second-seeded Dolphins battle No. 7 seed Wallace State (Alabama) at 4 p.m. Thursday at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama.
This past weekend, Delgado (38-14) won the Region XXIII Tournament championship for the 15th consecutive year. The Dolphins, who reached the NJCAA Division I College World Series last season, have won five straight games overall.
Delgado games throughout the tournament will also air on 106.1 FM with the possible exception of a game Saturday game provided the Dolphins’ contest does not conflict with a possible LHSAA state baseball championship broadcast. Updates on those broadcasts will be provided as needed here on CCS.
