Defensive assistant Jancek, two offensive analysts depart LSU football staff

It’s been an offseason of change for Brian Kelly’s LSU coaching staff after two seasons at the helm.

An completely revamped defensive staff and a new offensive coordinators are the major story lines in Baton Rouge. In the latest wave of the shakeup, defensive line coach John Jancek along wth offensive analysts John McDonnell and Terry Malone are no longer with the program.

Jancek, who first worked with Kelly in the 1990’s at Grand Valley State, was both a special teams and defense analyst with the Tigers before moving to defensive line coach this past August when Jimmy Lindsay took a medical leave of absence.
