The Division III semifinal between Catholic of New Iberia and Country Day has been moved to 5 p.m. Saturday, school officials announced Wednesday morning.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday night under the new permanent lights at Wenzel Field, but a forecast of rain throughout the day on Friday prompted the move. The winner of the game will have a bye next week before playing in the championship game Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Sixth-seeded Catholic (11-1) is the defending Division III champions, while No. 2 seed Country Day (11-0) is seeking its first ever trip to the LHSAA Prep Classic.
