Bowling: AOL whips Chalmette

Academy of Our Lady rolled over Chalmette 23-4 in girls prep bowling action at Bowling USA in Slidell Thursday afternoon.

AOL jumped out quickly, winning game one 8-0 as Erin Burkart had a 189 game while Shelby Elwin added a 180 game.

The Penguins took game two 6-2 as Burkart had a 186 game while Danielle Poussard shot a 184 game.

AOL won game three 6-2 as Lauren Michel had a 213 game and Burkhart shot a 178.

Burkart led the Penguins with a 553 series while Michel shot a 519 series on games of 160-146-213.

For the Owls, Allison Deffes led the way with a 505 series on games of 140-192, 173 while Raven Oro had a 413 series on games of 141-142-130.
