Bowling: St. Scholastica handles Holden
St. Scholastica handled Holden 23-4 in north shore prep bowling action Thursday at Tangi Lanes in Hammond.
The Doves (2-1) won game one 8-0 behind a 179 game by Katie Garraway. SSA took game two 6-2 as Garraway led the way with a 171 game and wrapped up the victory with a 6-2 win in game three as Sarah Estapa shot a 152 game. Amy Schneida had a 162 game while Aubry Hymel and Maddy Pye each had a 161 game for the Doves.
Hannah Stambough led the Rockets (1-2) with a 509 series on games of 160-178-171 while Madison Stafford had a 505 series on games of 163-193-149.
