In a non-district contest, Lakeshore went on the road and handled Archbishop Hannan 6-1.

The Hawks took the early lead with a run in the bottom of the first but that would be all for Hannan.

Mason Gegenheimer picked up the win, going five innings, allowing a run on three hits. Gegenheimer walked five and struck out five.

In another non-district game, Grace King bounced Amite 20-7 in a game shortened to 4 ½ innings by the mercy rule.

The Warriors scored twice in the top of the first before the Fighting Irish took a 3-2 lead after one inning.

Grace King took control with an eight-run second inning to lead 11-3 and led 14-3 after three innings. The Fighting Irish put it away with six more runs in the fourth inning before Amite scored three runs in the top of the fifth but not enough to extend the game.
