LHSAA overturns ruling, reinstates West Monroe’s Isaiah George

The Louisiana High School Athletic Association overturned its initial ruling, saying West Monroe senior defensive back Isaiah George is now eligible to play this season.

In an executive committee meeting Wednesday in Baton Rouge, the LHSAA reversed a decision made Aug. 26 and cleared George can play for the Rebels this season after the school self-reported a player tampering violation.
