Wrestling: Basile takes Brusly invitational over Hannan, De La Salle

Basile captured the annual Brusly Invitational Wrestling event Saturday.

The Bearcats finished with 171 points while Archbishop Hannan was second with 147 points and De La Salle finished third with 114 points.

De La Salle had an individual champion in Zachary Lauland (138).

John Curtis Christian had a pair of winners, including Preston Curtis (106) and John Drake (285).

Archbishop Hannan had a pair of winners in Grayson Pennison (160) and Mark Pennison (170).
