Woodlawn of Baton Rouge is the latest school to have at least one positive test.

As a result, the Panthers game with Riverside Academy Friday night has been canceled and the second week game for Woodlawn is also likely to be canceled.

Riverside athletic director Timmy Byrd confirmed that four persons involved with the Woodlawn program have tested positive, resulting in the cancellation.

Woodlawn joins Belle Chasse, Carroll, D’Arbonne Woods, Highland Baptist, Lakeside, Ouachita, Peabody and Vidalia in having to cancel season opening contests due to coronavirus issues.

Also, St. Thomas Aquinas has also canceled its game with Loranger due to coronavirus issues.

The Wolves will now play Liberty tomorrow night.`Liberty is the school formerly known as Lee High.
