With Springfield sidelined by COVID-19, Pope John Paul will now host Vinton this Friday

Pope John Paul II was scheduled to host Springfield in district play but the Bulldogs have had to pull out due to COVID-19 issues.

Vinton has lost its scheduled game with Oakdale for the same reason.

The result is that Vinton is now scheduled to play at Pope John Paul II Friday night at 7 p.m., Jaguars coach Charlie Cryer told CrescentCitySports.com.
