Volleyball: Slidell, Patrick Taylor with wins Monday
Area Prep Volleyball Report for Tuesday, Sept. 26
Slidell handled Covington 25-7, 25-12, 25-13 at home Monday evening.
Reagan Robinson led the Tigers with 15 kills, five aces, three blocks and a dig. Kayla Rachel had three kills and four blocks. Ava Labat finished with 33 assists and five aces and Demoni Lewis contributed four kills and six digs.
Slidell (18-2) returns to action Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at home against First Baptist Christian.
Covington (8-10) travels to Pine Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
Patrick Taylor handled Fisher 25-17, 25-17, 25-9.
Junior Cecilia Veters led the way for the Tigers with 20 kills, three aces while Gabrielle Weber had 19 assists, three kills, three aces and three digs.
Patrick Taylor (8-5) is back in action Tuesday at home against Sophie B. Wright at 4:30 p.m. while the Gators (9-5) travel to South Plaquemines at 4:30 p.m.
