UNO unveils new basketball court design at Lakefront Arena

NEW ORLEANS – Lakefront Arena, the home of New Orleans men’s and women’s basketball, underwent a transformation.

Thanks to a private foundation, Lakefront Arena will feature a redesigned playing surface in place for the upcoming season.

“Lakefront Arena was refinished this summer with a whole new look,” said Dena Freeman-Patton, Deputy AD/COO. “We will have an identifiable floor that #NOLAsTeam can be proud of.”

The new hardwood court features the Privateer head at mid-court, New Orleans wordmarks on the baselines and #NOLAsTeam near the benches. The court also features the UNO royal blue and a two-tone floor.
