Rowan Brumbaugh

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University men’s basketball Head Coach Ron Hunter announced another addition to his roster this week with the signing of Rowan Brumbaugh who will play for the Green Wave this fall. Brumbaugh chose the Green Wave over Cal, Washington, Stanford, and others.

“Rowan is a true point guard that has an unbelievably great feel for the game,” Hunter said. “He’s also played and contributed in many big games at the college level. His experience and talent will have an immediate impact for us.”

Brumbaugh played last season at Georgetown making an appearance in all 31 games for the Hoyas including 20 starts. The 6’4″ guard averaged 8.3 points and 2.6 assists in 22.3 minutes per game during the 2023-24 campaign. He also connected at a 40.7 percent clip from the field and 37.0 percent from beyond the arc with 27 made threes.

Prior to his lone season at Georgetown, Brumbaugh redshirted for one season at Texas. The Washington, D.C., product was a four-star recruit out of Northfield Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts in the 2022 signing class. He was ranked 72nd nationally by Rivals, 86th by 247Sports, and 90th by ESPN.
