Trennis Grant

After weeks of speculation, Trennis Grant has resigned as head baseball coach at Dillard.

Grant made a tremendous impression and splash in 2023 after being hired as the first baseball coach at the New Orleans university.

In its inaugural season, Dillard won the GCAC championship and went to the NAIA national tournament.

The expectations were quite high heading into the 2024 season.

Now, the program is starting anew.

Dillard was eliminated Saturday in the GCAC Tournament. Rod White has been serving as the Interim head coach of the Blue Devils. Dillard ended its season with a 20-27 record.

Grant is a highly respected coach who should have a future in the game at a young age.
