Three unbeatens lead way after one week of CCS Prep Summer League

CCS Prep Summer League

Entering the second week of play in the second year of the Crescent City Sports Summer League, three teams are unbeaten.

Leading the way are Lutcher-based Cypress Physical Therapy, Brother Martin-based K’s for Kids and Archbishop Rummel-based Malcolm Dienes, all of whom are 3-0 entering play Monday.

A trio of teams are next at 2-1, including Chalmette-based Gulf Coast Bank, the John Curtis Christian-based River Ridge Patriots and the Lakeshore Titans.

Three teams check in a 1-1, including Holy Cross-based Ponstein’s Food Store, Northshore-based Peck’s Seafood and St. Thomas Aquinas.

St. Charles Catholic-based Cretin Townsend Homes is 1-1-1 while the Mandeville-based Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Skippers are 1-2.

St. Augustine-based Chapter IV Restaurant is 0-1, Pope John Paul II is 0-1-1, Archbishop Shaw-based Refuel and Belle Chasse-based Terry’s Oyster are 0-2 and Jesuit based Retif Oil is 0-3.
