Joe Scheuermann always has a fine team at Delgado. That has been the case for 33 seasons for the National Junior College Hall of Fame coach.

Delgado resumes Region 23 play Tuesday evening against Baton Rouge Community College at Pete Goldsby Field before a weekend showdown at LSU-Eunice.

The Bobcats are unbeaten at 34-0 and ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA Division II rankings. LSU-Eunice has won seven Division II national championships, most recently in 2021.
