St. Paul’s pitcher Kade Anderson picked among Top 25 players for Prospect Development Pipeline
St. Paul’s left-handed pitcher Kade Anderson has been chosen as part of the top 25 players for the Top 25 Prospect Development Pipeline.
Anderson and the other 24 players initially chosen for the league were announced on MLB Network last week.
Anderson (6-2, 170) had an outstanding sophomore season in 2021. The junior, an LSU commit, is expected to be perhaps the top pitcher in the state in 2022. Anderson features a fastball which ranges from 87-91 miles per hour and a good breaking ball to go along with a solid changeup.
Launched in 2018, the Prospect Development League provides great competition and experience for some of the very best prospects in the country with instruction and management provided by former Major League players and current Major League team representatives.
Anderson has also pitched for the Louisiana Knights and previously was named to the Team USA 18 and under squad in September. He is the top-ranked player in Louisiana for the Class of 2023.
