The St. Charles Catholic home game with Vandebilt Catholic slated for Saturday at 2 p.m. has been moved from the St. Charles campus in LaPlace to Joe Keller Stadium in Reserve. Dupuy Memorial Stadium at Frank Monica Field was deemed unplayable following the impact of Hurricane Ida.

“The issue is the leaning lights are deemed unsafe,” Stein. “All of the light standards will be taken out Saturday. Temporary lighting is a possibility. We are looking at one step at a time. It is such a fluid situation. It will really going to be week-to-week. We just want the opportunity to play. The kids have not wavered through all of this.”

The Comets (2-0) have not given up a point in victories over De La Salle, 3-0, and Jefferson County, Miss., 41-0.

The Terriers (1-1) lost at Newman 28-0 to open the season before defeating Breaux Bridge 23-6 last week.
