I just remembered an important thing last week when it comes to making NFL picks: Stay humble.

After two hot weeks, I wrote some arrogant words and was brought down to earth by a 5-9 record.

Ouch!

But Uncle Pdub rebounds well. Trust me.

Here are some “Sports Takes Sure To Be Wrong (Although We Know The Majority Of these Will Be Right).”

The Falcons, Colts, Patriots and Saints have byes this week.

Ravens 27, Bengals 23: Both of these teams had surprise losses last week. It’s tough to see anyone of these teams losing two games in a row, but this game won’t end in a tie. I’ll take the Ravens at home in a squeaker, because running QBs might give Cincinnati’s defense trouble.

Cowboys 28, Panthers 10: The Panthers have no chance.

Steelers 20, Browns 17: Cleveland’s Deshaun Watson is out for the year with a shoulder injury. While the Browns have proven to be resilient without Watson, Pittsburgh’s defense is too good and will be the difference in this game.

Lions 31, Bears 21: The Bears have no chance.

Chargers 34, Packers 27: The Chargers’ defense is prone to making opposing offenses look good, but that would be asking a lot of Green Bay’s offense.

Texans 27, Cardinals 24: The Cardinals got a boost with the return of Kyler Murray last week, but the Houston is a fun team to watch with an exciting coach and QB. If the Texans are as good as people think they are, they can’t lose this game.

Jaguars 30, Titans 17: I can’t see the Jaguars losing two games in a row.

Dolphins 27, Raiders 20: Miami was gifted a two-game lead in the AFC East after the Bills lost to Broncos last week. Keep an eye on the Dolphins defense, which is improving and is more than capable of shutting down the Raiders offense.

Commanders 24, Giants 10: The Giants have no chance.

49ers 34, Buccaneers 20: Now that Deebo Samuel is back from injury, the 49ers’ offense is back. Tampa Bay has no chance.

Bills 23, Jets 16: This could be an early AFC playoff elimination game. Buffalo (5-5) can’t afford too many more losses and hope to make the playoffs. If the Jets (4-6) lose this game, Aaron Rodgers might as well rest his Achilles injury for the remainder of the season, because it will take a miracle for the team to make the playoffs.

Seahawks 26, Rams 23: Seattle has a tendency to struggle against the Rams, and the same thing should play out in this game. I just think Seattle has too much talent to lose.

Broncos 24, Vikings 20: It looks like Denver has started to figure things out under Coach Sean Payton. The Vikings have been a great story with QB Josh Dobbs, but the Broncos are playing at home and will be too much.

Chiefs 38, Eagles 31: Here is one guarantee: Philadelphia will commit a penalty in this game. This game should end like the last time these teams played in the Super Bowl with the Chiefs winning a high-scoring game.
