Area Prep Softball Report for Tuesday, March 22

Booker T. Washington is playing solidly.

The Lady Lions went to the West Bank and demolished Helen Cox 30-6 in a non-district contest Monday.

Senior Lauren Greer led a potent Lions attack, going 3 for 4 with a home run and three RBI.

Booker T. Washington (5-2) is scheduled to return to action today, weather permitting, against Douglass at 4 p.m.

Lutcher was third in the most recent LHSAA power ratings posted last week. The Lady Bulldogs may be moving up.

The Lady Bulldogs went to Thibodaux and blasted E.D. White Catholic 16-0 Monday.

Maria Detillier, Karly Riley and Blair Ursin all homered for Lutcher.

Lutcher (18-2) has won eight straight games and will return to action hosting Assumption Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
