Soccer: Dominican, Lakeshore, MCA win at Mandeville tourney

Dominican, Lakeshore and Mount Carmel Academy posted wins in the Mandeville girls tournament Thursday.

Dominican downed host Mandeville 2-1, Lakeshore blanked St. Joseph’s Academy 3-0 and Mount Carmel continued its winning ways with a 3-1 victory over West Monroe.

In top matches today in the tournament, Mandeville faces Acadiana at noon, Northshore faces Northlake Christian at 1:30 p.m., Dominican meets St. Scholastica at 4:30 p.m. and Mount Carmel squares off with St. Amant at 7:30 p.m.
