Skyler Green to appear Wednesday at Segnette Landing Restaurant at 106.1 FM

Former L.W. Higgins High and LSU star Skyler Green, who also played for the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys, will appear live on the Saints Hall of Fame show with Ken Trahan this week.

The All-Access remote takes place this Wednesday, December 6 at Segnette Landing Restaurant, part of Gator Town at 450 Laroussini Street in Westwego. All-Access airs at 6 p.m. weeknights on NASH ICON 106.1 FM and at NASHFM1061.com.

A Westwego native, Green had a brilliant senior season at Higgins, rushing for 2,174 yards on 194 carries while receiving All-State honors and was recognized as the Most Valuable Player in his district.

At LSU, Green starred at wide receiver and as a kick return specialist and was an integral part of the LSU national championship team in the 2003 season.

Green was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played part of three seasons in the NFL, for Dallas, Cincinnati and for the Saints in 2008.

Green went on to play for the New Orleans VooDoo of the Arena Football League.

Prizes will be given away to attendees at the conclusion of the show.
