The Saints have placed wide receiver and return man Tommylee Lewis on injured reserve.

With the open roster spot, defensive tackle Jay Bromley has been brought back.

Lewis suffered a knee injury last week against the Cleveland Browns while returning a punt. Lewis was replaced by Taysom Hill at kick returner ahead of Sunday’s game, while wideout Ted Ginn Jr. replaced Lewis fielding punts after the injury.

Bromley was with the Saints during training camp and the preseason.

The Saints also have added linebacker Darnell Sankey to their practice squad, releasing quarterback J.T. Barrett to open the spot.
