New Orleans acquired the former first round pick (10th overall) from the New York Giants for fourth and seventh-round picks during the 2018 season. He started for the Saints until an ankle injury knocked him out of the lineup last last season when he was replaced by his former Giants teammate, Janoris Jenkins.
Apple, an Ohio State product, will be 25 this upcoming season.
