New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis is working remotely due to a recent close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, first reported NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Loomis could be back with the team as early as Friday, according to ESPN’s Mike Triplett.

Saints nickelback C.J. Gardner-Johnson was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday.

New Orleans finishes the regular season Sunday at 3:25 p.m. in Charlotte against the Carolina Panthers.
