Report: Hutch Gonzales set to become Mandeville head football coach

After nearly seven months of an exhaustive search, Mandeville High School appears to have found its next football coach.

According to multiple sources for The Advocate, Hutch Gonzales is expected to be named the next coach of the Skippers. Gonzales cannot officially be named the coach at Mandeville until after the St. Tammany Parish School System job fair, which concludes on May 31.

Gonzales returns to St. Tammany Parish after spending a year as the head coach at St. Thomas Aquinas in Hammond.
