Report: Aaron Nola placed on MLB’s COVID-19 injured list
Former LSU All-American pitcher Aaron Nola’s status for the start of the MLB season is in question as the Phillies No. 1 starter was placed this week on the COVID-19 Injured List, according to Inquirer.com.
The list is for players who test positive for coronavirus, show symptoms, or come in contact with an infected person.
The 27-year old Baton Rouge native was was 12–7 with a 3.87 ERA in a National League-leading 34 starts last season for Philadelphia.
The 60-game regular season is scheduled to begin in less than three weeks.
