Recruiting: Northshore ATH Kyle Williams commits to Marshall
Northshore High School’s Kyle Williams committed Wednesday to Marshall.
The three-star athlete considered offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech, Texas State, Southeastern and UAB. His offer from the Thunderin’ Herd arrived August 1.
Williams has played cornerback and wide receiver for the Panthers but projects to safety in college. He excels on the baseball diamond as well.
The 6-foot, 172-pound Williams high points the ball well, closes quickly, performs well in press coverage and gains proper positioning and leverage on deep routes. He shows good timing at the right moment when the ball arrives. Williams is a solid open field tackler who should play well when asked to play in space.
Marshall now has 13 commitments for the 2024 class.
