Tulane is wrapping up their football recruiting for the 2023 cycle with signing day culminating on Feb. 1.

William Reed III from Alpharetta High in Alpharetta, Ga. visited campus this weekend and decided he wanted to play for the Green Wave. He will be a preferred walk-on. He has a 33 ACT.

The 6-foot, 175 pounder earned Class 6A All State this past season as well as district defensive MVP. He was versatile enough to line up at either safety spot or even outside linebacker.

Reed comes up quickly to challenge the run and tackles well in the open field tackler. He diagnosis plays immediately, jumps the receiver’s route and shows good ball skills. Reed always seems to be in the correct position to make the play and delivers the big hit.
