The New Orleans Pelicans are promoting from within to fill a key opening.

The organization has moved Bryson Graham into the general manager position, as reported by multiple outlets on Sunday.

Graham succeeds Trajan Langdon, who left the Pelicans to become President of Basketball Operations for the Detroit Pistons earlier this week.

Starting as an intern with the New Orleans front office in 2010, the 37-year-old has held the role of Pelicans assistant general manager since 2019. Throughout his tenure, Graham has also served as the team’s Player Development Director, Video Coordinator/Player Development Coach, Scouting Coordinator and Director of College Scouting.

A native of San Antonio, Graham played basketball at Texas A&M from 2006-09 and worked as a graduate assistant for the Aggies under then-head coach Mark Turgeon.
