The New Orleans Pelicans were on full display for a national television audience to see on ABC nationally. They embraced the bright lights and played lights out.

New Orleans dominated from start to finish in a wire-to-wire 141-105 Wednesday night at Golden State.

Three nights after demolishing Sacramento 133-100, the Pelicans demolished another solid opponent as they continue to play outstanding basketball on the road.

The Pelicans again sizzled from the field, making 57 percent of their field goal attempts, including 19-of-40 from 3-point range. The Pelicans had eight players who made at least one 3-pointer. New Orleans had a 47-43 edge on the boards, outscored the Warriors 64-48 in the paint and 14-6 on fast break points. New Orleans led by as many as 41 points.

New Orleans came out smoking, scoring a season best 46 points in the first quarter to take a 46-27 lead.

The Pelicans led by as many as 25 points but Golden State fought back to within 73-60 at the half.

The Pelicans scored 16 points off 11 Golden State turnovers.

New Orleans made 13-of-26 three-point attempts in the first half with CJ McCollum leading the way with 12 points and Jordan Hawkins scoring 11 points, including 3-of-3 from three-point range.

Brandon Ingram picked up his fourth foul with 6:15 to play in the third quarter with the Pelicans up 86-73 but it proved to be a non-factor.

Jonas Valanciunas scored 15 points in the third quarter, including ten straight at one point, to allow the Pelicans to maintain their working margin and built it to a 105-83 lead heading to the fourth quarter.

The Pelicans cleared the bench with just under eight minutes to play in the game and with a 123-88 lead.

New Orleans got 56 points from its bench, including 16 points, six rebounds and four assists from Trey Murphy III and 14 points from Jordan Hawkins.

Valanciunas led the Pelicans with 20 points and nine rebounds. New Orleans had 37 assists on 54-made shots.

Zion Williamson had 19 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

The Pelicans (23-15) have won six of seven games.

The Warriors (17-20) have lost six of eight games.

The Warriors fell to a team that has become road warriors.

New Orleans (23-15) continues its five-game road trip at Denver against the current NBA champion Nuggets.

We have been saying this quite a bit lately but this may have been the most impressive performance of the season by the Pelicans.
